The show on Friday was awesome. Only about 15-20 people showed up, but for playing to an untapped audience, it wasnt too bad. We made everybody stand up again....I wouldnt have it any other way of course :) A first for the band on friday, we were cautioned....ordered rather, to turn it down because the cops were called and sitting outside. That made it all the more interesting.

Life is pretty boring. Big news this week:
1. The stupid fucking railroad tracks on Pennsylvania decided they didn't like my exhaust pipes. So they're resting eternally in a shopping cart at K-Mart after being ripped off the bottom of my car.
2. Replaced my resonate bass drum head (which shouldn't have broken....cuz it doesnt get hit...hence resonate.) I also exploded my snare head, so replaced that as well.
3. Taking a hiatus from playing shows this month. In return, we have 2 new songs for you all to enjoy. We also have (tentatively) 2 shows in October. One on the 9th, somewhere, with Forever Untold, November Sky, A Horror Film, Vanzetti, To Die For, and one more TBA. Then October 23rd at ESP Skate Park in Taylor. Bands on the bill include: Allison's Hope, November Sky, and Vanzetti, with 2 more TBA. Cover is $7 and the show starts at 9 PM. This one is our Halloween show, so WEAR A COSTUME!
Thats about all I can think of for now. More news, and maybe Diane's Boobs at 11.

Interesting day today. We'll skip work, thats just work....anyway. Threw my new plate and tags on my car and took it out for the evening. Quite interesting. After searching for a part at 3 AutoZone's (i strongly suggest NOT going there) I'm driving down S. Telegraph and I get pulled over in front of St. Alfred's.
So, Mr. State Cop walks up and says "When did you buy this car?" "Two days ago", says I as I remove my registration, license and insurance from my wallet. "Thats what I figured after seeing how clean your plate was. You see, I saw you driving and I said to myself, 'I think thats a '76 Trans Am.' so I ran your plates to see if I was right. When they came back, my computer didnt show it registered, but you have todays date right here on your registration, so I'll go clear it out of my computer."
After that, we just bullshitted around a li'l talkin about cars and I (regretfully) told him that it was a '77, not a '76, but close enough. Then he sent me merrily on my way to the rest of a lovely evening.
After such an encounter, I just had to go relax by getting.....SUBWAY! Courtesy of Bradly of course. Hung out there a bit, then hit up Rack n Roll for a wee bit of pool before heading home to watch South Park - South Park is GAY! Good fuckin episode. Other than that...I'll probably repeat some of the same process tomorrow....hopefully sans the whole getting pulled over part.
Plans for the remainder of the week:
Thursday - Work, Practice, Chill
Friday - Work, Canada
Saturday - (possibly) Work and Tylenol for the mild headache I'll have because I dont get hung over :D

Well, due to the homosexual tendencies of my parents, i was short 1 cable modem for the past i dont know how long. But anywho, I'm back. All I do is work and sleep. But my paychecks certainly are nice :D The band is excellent. We're ordering t-shirts on Monday...which according to my clock, is now tomorrow. So we're ordering t-shirts tomorrow. Random assortment of colors so there'll be something for everybody. Here's what they're going to look like.
Price is $10. So get them while we have em because we're only ordering 48, then we're switching to a new design. Now over to Ali for our Black-U-Weather forcast. "ITS GONNA RAIN!" Thank you Ali. In other news, i'm going to master some songs to kill time before jeff gets here. Rock the fuck on.

Storms suck. Never say, "We can make it through the flooded underpass.", it only leads to heartache and soaking wet jeans. I did meet some cool people though, Nice Guy Eddie, and Jamie. They are both nice, kind, generous, and wonderful people. Vanzetti and Brad's friend Ryanne spent three hours or so pushing cars out of waist deep water after the sheer genius, mob mentality, and persuasiveness of the band convinced Ryanne that her Explorer would make it through the flash fucking flood unscathed. Then the morning that followed consisted chiefly of "The Tank", a tow strap and a few tons of good old American engineering rendered dead weight by a non-functional starter.
It was almost instantly after we got the car away from the road and into a parking lot that the green sky was upon us and we were in the worst storm I've ever seen. If there was ever something I wasn't sure I was going to live through, it was that. After the hail, a white wall of rain, and shreded foliage cleared, we realized we were parked adjacent to a four story pile of broken cement blocks that would have made marvelous projectiles. It was certainly an experience that in the end was worth goin through. if nothing else, it sure makes a good story.
Thanks to the outrageous character of Nice Guy Eddie and Jamie, it was all good. Thank God for honest, good people who like to drive you home even when they just met you. It's nice to know that things like that can bring out the best in people, and people really can stick together, and help each other out just because it's the right thing to do.

Last night was fuckin hilarious...but man...i'm turnin into a bad kid... ...and this is me caring :D because it was fuckin fun as hell. Anyway, hopefully sometime soon the band will be making its way over to Toms house because his basement is much better suited for recording than mine...not sure why yet...either his computer or the acoustics of the room...but probably a combination of both. So lookout for some new recordings in the coming weeks.
Enraged Records is under reconstruction at the moment, but we'll keep you all updated through our nifty li'l news box there in the upper right corner. We aim to bring you a brand spankin new (and improved) site along with some new policies to dropkick ER in an upward direction. I think Brad summed it up best: "Enraged Records is unable to thrive on the pitiful income of three and the meager charities of those who want to see this off the ground." So if all goes as planned this next year should turn out to be very interesting indeed.
Since I've written you all a book so far...I'll end it here.
